You can choose the course that best suits each child. You can also change the course midway.
Monthly online input class (50 minutes) and
Output class once a month (50 minutes ❌2)

You will learn how to write with a hard pen, how to balance characters, how to read them, and how to prepare for the output of your ink painting.
( You can't become good at calligraphy by just blindly copying and writing from a model. Even if you go to a calligraphy class, you won't be able to write without a model. It's important to understand the theory behind what makes characters look beautiful and to be able to output that knowledge.

There is a creative theme for each month (a seasonal theme).
Although there is a model, we ask that you create your own work freely to bring out the individuality of your child. In addition, you will learn about the meaning of words, seasons, and events.
Exhibit at the open exhibition held once a year at the National Art Center, Tokyo (only for applicants )
Calligraphy
You will learn about hard penmanship, character balance theory, and the fascinating aspects of the Japanese language .
In addition, students will acquire ranks and grades according to the calligraphy competition published by the Japan Calligraphy Art Institute (starting from grade 10).
Participate in the calligraphy competition and education exhibition hosted by the Japan Calligraphy Art Institute once a year

Ink painting

Exhibit at the open exhibition held once a year at the National Art Center, Tokyo in Roppongi (only for those who wish to do so) and at cultural festivals in other wards, etc.

Single Course
Ticket system: 2,500 yen/session (members: 2,000 yen/session)

Sumi-e or calligraphy
You can choose any day you like and take the course on a one-off basis.

Membership fee
There is no registration fee. However, you will need to pay the initial registration fee and purchase the following equipment.
・Registration fee for the Japan Calligraphy Academy: 1,000 yen (only for those who have obtained a rank)
・Calligraphy set and ink painting tools (approximately 5,000 yen)
All new members will receive their own personal seal as a gift!!
Trial classes are held on opening days at any time.
